4.3 Implementation of the Readpeak Pixel

For Advertisers: 
  1. Go to your campaign page in the Readpeak platform
  2. Find in the left upper tab "Tracking"
  3. Here you find the pixel and tracking code for event tracking.
  4. Copy the pixel, and implement it to the client’s webpage in the header or footer section on every page.
  5. Monitor data and performance from Dashboard Live Performance page.
For Agencies:
  1. Go to your client list page in the Readpeak platform
  2. Find in the right column button "Tracking" for a specific client.
  3. Pressing the button will open a popup with the client specific tracking scripts.
  4. Copy the pixel, and implement it to the client webpage in the header or footer section on every page.
  5. Monitor data and performance from Dashboard Live Performance page.

Note that the tracking script is client specific. If you are an agency, make sure you implement the pixel related to the correct client in the platform


Track automatically reading time in your campaign


The pixel kicks in directly, and you can see average time spent per site, ad-group and ad-variation from the dashboard and live performance.

Tracking script enables:

  • Track precise time-tracking with information of what content gives best time-performance and from what news site (automatic)
  • Set conversion goals to campaigns in the platform and track them directly from the dashboard (needs to be separately enabled in platform)

Remember to SAVE every time you make changes to your native advertising campaign on Readpeak.
